Amanda and I met in Wiltshire, to write my biography. I had difficulties writing of the emotional bits and handed these over to Amanda. From the very start I found I was very comfortable telling her my story. Amanda understood that what I was telling her could not have been made up. We worked on the book over 2 days, initially, over more than 8 hours. I asked if it was going to be OK to print what I had said and Amanda did caution me about using real names, who could possibly want to keep what I was talking about secret to avoid exposing me to litigation, even from family members. Ultimately, I decided to postpone my book, as physical evidence was lacking although all the evidence was in my heart. I knew who I was. My book will be finished by Amanda, who made me focus on the facts and clearing them from my head as I needed to forgive many, who over the years had caused me much pain, through a massive secret that many did not want revealed. I know that the advice Amanda gave me was the best and having some of the story is on paper now has been cathartic. Amanda understood and so did I. Amanda's friendly and kind attitude helped me overcome the fears of talking about my life situation. She listened and patiently chose the right words and set the tone and the perspective of the book. I worked with Amanda in 2021 on writing my story. It was at the time of Covid, so it all had to be done by Zoom. Not ideal, but we both managed. She was enormously helpful and very tolerant of my interference! She ended up writing parts and I ended up writing other parts (which she kindly edited for me).
